University students buying and selling in campus Facebook groups kept running into scams. Trust was low, and a clean transaction between students was harder than it should be.

VentU was built as a safer place for those trades.

We built VentU, a marketplace only for university students. Users register with their institutional email, so only active students get in.

Students create personal profiles to buy and sell with more confidence. Payments run through PayPal and Mercado Pago.

VentU changed how students buy and sell on campus: a safer channel that cuts the scam risk that came with Facebook groups.

The platform is a closed, protected space — more trust between students, and commerce that actually stays inside the university community.
